The short version
SoloKit HQ is a reader-supported website. Some of the links on this site are affiliate links. If you click one and then sign up for or buy a product, we may earn a commission — at no additional cost to you. You pay the same price you would have paid anyway.
What that means
When we review or recommend software and tools, we sometimes include links to the companies that make them. Some of those companies run affiliate or referral programs. If you use our link and become a customer, the company may pay us a percentage of your subscription (sometimes as a one-time payment, sometimes recurring for as long as you stay subscribed).
This is one of the main ways we fund the site — it lets us keep publishing free, in-depth reviews instead of putting everything behind a paywall.
Our promise: commissions don’t buy verdicts
We want to be completely clear about this, because it’s the whole point:
- Recommendations are based on merit, not commission size. If a free or cheaper tool is the better choice, we say so — even when it earns us less or nothing at all.
- We flag tools we don’t like, including tools that would pay us well if we pushed them.
- We aim to keep pricing and facts current, and we tell you when something should be double-checked directly with the vendor, since software pricing changes often.
Our reputation with you is worth far more than any single commission.
Which links are affiliate links?
Not every link on the site is an affiliate link. Many are simple references to sources, documentation, or tools with no affiliate relationship. Where a link is an affiliate link and it matters to the recommendation, you’ll also see a short in-article note such as:
